What you need to undertake this training online
PPE equipment requirements: safety hard hat, high visibility jacket, earmuffs, safety glasses and a box or something to lift for the manual handling assessment. If you do not have the PPE equipment requirements, you can come into Athena Training’s office to complete your PPE practical assessment at an agreed date and time suitable to our trainers. If you require assistance other than with the PPE, a trainer fee of $65 per hour will apply.
Student identification and assessment verification
- All students are required to upload and provide valid photo identification at the time of enrolment.
- The image on the ID must clearly match the individual undertaking the assessment.
- During the assessment, students must upload video footage of themselves completing each of the four individual assessment tasks.
- This footage is used to verify identity and ensure the assessment is completed by the enrolled student.
- Both ID verification and full payment must be received before the Statement of Attainment can be issued.
Student notice - image capture during assessment
- While you are undertaking your White Card assessment, our Learner Management System periodically captures images of you.
- These images verify that the person completing the training and assessment is the same individual who enrolled.
- This process helps ensure compliance with national training standards and protects the integrity of the White Card qualification.
- The image captured must match the photo ID provided at enrolment.
- If identity verification fails, Athena Training Academy reserves the right to make the student not competent, and the Statement of Attainment will not be issued.
- By enrolling, you consent to these images being captured as part of the assessment process. If you have not allowed images to be captured, your White Card assessment will be invalid and you will be required to undertake the assessment again.
We ensure legal compliance
These measures ensure Athena Training Academy’s online delivery of the White Card meets the safety and compliance standards of the Australian construction industry. The White Card is issued only to individuals who have genuinely completed the required training and assessment.
- We authenticate the individual’s identity and enrolment.
